v1.7 server?

we used to but its hard to get it populated due to the number of other servers online so we came back to 1.0

Can anyone tell me how to go back to 1.0? My disk installs at 1.6.
I cant find a way to downgrade my version past 1.2.

well you know you can just tell everyone to download the 1.7 patch its free and you get like 3 extra maps to play online... it may take a while to download and install but i think it is well worth it

He's talking about public players.because theres like 10000+ servers on 1.7 there was hardly ever anyone in the server except clan members

Maybe a v1.2 server?
People can downgrade to that...relativly easy.

Yeah it might be time to move up to 1.2 or something. Not 1.7 though, 1.7 is lame. Idk why they would do that to the new cd's so stupid

i don't know, i've always played on our servers and i like them the way they are, to be fair i think moving the servers up to another patch would be too much hastle. especially seen as we get a lot of pubbers who like our servers.

There's a shit load of servers there and more than likely not a good server to player ratio. There's like 14,000 TDM servers. And thats just the TDM... last time I checked.

I wouldn't want to move up to 1.7, but possibly a higher patch. My only concern is the 1.0 population dying due to the cd's being made to install at 1.5, know what I mean?

Erm... the COD server is already on 1.2, just 1.0 peeps can play on it cause it's just that awesome

That said I do hear what King is talking about though. Basically v1.0 pop is going to drop inevitably just because it's more or less unavailable now.

Once the population drops, we will discuss the plan of action. We will most likely move up to 1.7, but why change something that is already working? I think we are fine here for now, but once we have to move up to 1.7, someone can find the best place to download the patch and make it easy for all of us.
