For the sake of not looking dumb, smilies have been disabled for this post.

For most of the smilies the code is fine, but others conflict with normal speech. Like, to get the picture of an asshole, you would type "[uass]" and if you want the purple smiley saying "TOOL!" you type "tol" -minus the quotes in both cases.

So if I say "I told you so" I would get "I -stupid ass smiley face-d so."

I haven't looked further into it, but there may be others that are hasslesome as well. The only reason I bring this up is because sometimes you want to use a word like "told" and a smily as well. And turning off smilies eliminates your smart ass smily face.

i know where u r coming from on this one. On the quotes, i wanted to type a quote about "farting" on someone in zombies.
But the two smilies came up farting at each other til the one passes out...

I do think the smilies are really cool in most cases but sometimes they are annoying.
and i think if u hit the "disable BBcode" at the bottom right above where u hit submit, it will turn this off..

if u hold the mouse over the smiley, it will tell u what the person typed to get the smiley so u can see what part of the word is missing

try it on this farting

I think you guys were confused. Snork and Tripi get it. Sometimes I just want to type "sing" and not get a damn smily face.
