Here's an idea that I've expanded on from what I said after practice today. For those of you who remember, I thought of it! mwahahaha

Anyway, a fun way to get promoted I think would be to do 1v1, five minutes matches. When you want to challenge somebody, send them a private message as well as a GOA stating your challenge, a time where it can be held, and what restrictions you would like to include. All three parties, (both challengers and the GOA,) must agree on the restrictions, if any. It is up to the parties to coordinate times where they can all be there. If your competitor accepts, or thinks they can pummel your reputation, you can do best of three, otherwise keep at one match per challenge.

The need for a GOA, if it is't obvious, is just for moderating. To make sure there isn't any cheating and to know who to promote.

Edit:
Maybe instead of closing the server to just the three people, we could close it to the clan and have our family spectate the fight. That way everybody knows what went down. And on that note, we could make a seperate forum for challenges so that more people know when they are going to happen so they can try to attend.

I think that would be really cool. I also think that some of the new members that are decent players would just take advantage of that and rank up a lot faster than us older members that have done more for this clan...

You have to remember though, it is up to the admin to approve the challenge. If they feel like the member hasn't participated enough, they can regulate who does and does not get to challenge.

so the better you play the more rank? or is it like i would challenge a scrim team member for his spot on the team? Because (no names involved) but some people would have rank and power that they wouldn't be responsible with. and others lacking needed power. I could see it for the scrim team though, but scrims work on teamwork with multiple players not just free for all.

Not the scrim team. The teams isn't made of the best of the best, that would be dumb.

It's if somebody would like to rank faster than they are currently. Somebody who participates normally in practices and on the boards.

It's not an alternative, you basically have to qualify. I talked to Andre about this, and he made it clear that not just anybody would be able to partake in this, as it should be.

It's more of a reward than just something anybody can do.

Thats a pretty cool idea indeed, just one question..
If u lose a challenge would u get demoted in rank?
because if a recruit loses for example then they would go to inactive or banned >.<

Haha, nah. I don't think there should be any demotions. That wouldn't really be fair.

If the person is weak in sniping, he would specify a different game type, like all weapons, or no lmg's or something like that...

true, but still, it isn't based on skill, it's based on how well you help the clan and its members...

The really important thing is that a member helps the clan to improve the forum, the servers administration and it shouldn't matter how the player is good in the game.

thats true RDB but then again it doesnt hurt to be good in the game. All of us GOA's are amazing players when we are at the top of our game, but the reason the other goa's are goa's is because they were active on the forums active in the server and they did everything in they're power to help out the server
