i have tried ingame pressing shift~ but no console or anything comes up ive even tried holding those keys, whats wrong? is it bc im using a laptop grrr why does my laptop hate me so much!?(please don't answer last question it was rhetorical!)(please only post here if u know what ur talking bout)

british keyboards are different, its just the key below the escape key, looks like this: ,¬|

first of all...go into options on ur cod4 main screen
then go to game options and click enable console if it says no

oh ok `¬ that thingy well erm thx but do i still press shift and `¬ or just `¬?

Also on my keyboard all i have to do is hit `~ (tilda) and that's it idk if that helps
