i think that ther are quite a few hypocrits and snakes within the clan im not naming names, but tbh, this "New S.S." is not really working.

you may say, what makes these certain people hypocrits, well people are like, be nice to the pubbers, be polite and all that BS, then they mess up the rules once and get fucking banned, its pathetic, the whole clan is pathetic, and the fact that javaman said in practise to resepect the pubbers, and IF they are low lvl then yeah, they will end up breaking the rules and he wants us to explain to them about how to abide by SS rules and jsut the otherday, he lays down on overgrown, saying its snipers only and he is literally screaming at them to follow our snipers only rules, these pubbers dont know our rules, and not every1 is going to pay attention to the chat, coz i know i dont and if they use a sniper, but rush to other side then they get banned WTF talk aobut respecting the pubbers, fuck that shit.

i joined like in november or something and nothing like this ever happened (unless inth was in a mood or whatever) and after the snake incedent, everything was ok, it was a proper clan, yeah we may of lost scrims, but the clan back then was strong and there would be a good laugh on vent, mainly about hunters mom but yeah she IS HOT . like i would come home from wereever, might of been a bad day, i would sign onto vent, and i could jsut forget about the bad things that happened and just have a laugh,

but now, its not the same,

one thing that got me real pissed off and has done for a while, is that new ppl would come in the clan, be in like a month, and a goa would say, here you go , here is your first promtion, going from 0 pp, to like 20+pp

you guys need to think of the ppl in clan that had been in S.S. before these new ppl and maybe they deserver a prmo for sticking with SS. it will jsut be a matter of time till every new recruit will to be able to kick ppl.

One last thing, i will still be playing on the servers, and if so, might come on vent if im still allowed,

Quite a few people have had promotions yes. but promotions go to those who earn the repsect etc. I mean even you went up some promotions rather quickly.

The hunters mom thing, yeah it was funny then, however after so long it gets boring and starts to annoy people

not many people have made a jump from 0 to 20 points. A few have gone from 0 to 10 but thats generally about it. I must admit though I have done the ranks rather quick, but you don't see me constanly bitching and moaning at every little thing. I do what I do in all games, aim to earn respect among players and I achieved that. Even you have earned repsect, or should I say did as some think you have left on bad terms with that message.

I agree with the whole team-player thing. That is why us GOAs are having a meeting this week and discussing future recruitment plans, Which will probably ble closed for quite some time.




I don't mean to be rude or anything however you go on about this whole brotherhood thing, I know it was there as I was around for a small part of it however, leaving S.S. is basically like leaving that brotherhood and being a hypocrit yourself.


I don't mean anything bad or anything or coming across harsh but this is just my opinion of it all. If you take anything the wrong way then I am sorry. I respect you as a player and a friend as I have played along side you for quite some time, just like Helba, GB and others.

I haven't been around much and honestly have been very busy IRL. I'm usually always busy IRL, but before things switched I could find a few hours a week to play. Lately, I can't, nor do I want to. I have played many FPS games and was in the same clan the entire time. I can tell you 100% that before the leadership change this rank structure was the first time I had ever seen it work. In my old clan (10 years old) we got rid of it after the first 3 years because there was too much animosity and way too much fake attitudes until people got their power.

We dropped to a 3 man leadership circle with 3 other regular members rotating every 6 months. We also cleaned house and only had 10 people to have rcon rights due to abuse.

That being said, I can't stand anyone who has played a game for fun not having fun anymore due to other people...

So Venom, basically by you insulting Stig, Helba, or anyone else, imo you are not a leader. Well Stig, thanks for spending the time that you did with us, it's been fun... even if I am an LMG Noob. I understand where Kami, Stigger, and Helba are coming from I really do, the clan has grown and contracted, then grown again in a very short time. Because of that, and the timing of the last deconstruction, it's been hard to form a cohesive core in STARS. Having to reform a clan on the cusp of summer holidays isn't an easy task all the while hoping to form new friendships and gaming bonds. That being said, many are being slightly critical towards Chief but that's kind of unfair also, seeing that no one at all would be playing in STARS if he hadn't stepped up and got the servers secured and took the necessary steps towards preserving the clan.

As for the ranking system... personally I dont like it. I don't think that it's important for people to get a rank then progress... it makes being in a clan kind of like trying to play World of Warcraft and leveling up. If you want to have a threshold where you give people admin rights it should be based on a personal level, where you know the kind of judgement call the person is going to make. With the current military style system there is a lot of pomp and fluff with very little gain beside being able to tell lower ranking people "but I'm the Super King Boss!!!!" We still need clan hierarchy but it doesn't need as many layers. We still need to recruit but we need to be more stringent in our recruiting and get more people involved in the process, so we weed out the losers long before they become S.S.

I am not trying to insult anyone, I was speaking my mind. I play games to have fun and still do. And just cos I got promoted to GOA yesterday doesn't mean I am going to change that. I was around for a bit whilst the clan was close knit, helba, GB, rogue, inth etc etc. We all had fun and some good laughs. I wasn't trying to insult anyone by my post however there are some others that aren't posting here simply because they will escalatee this and go really out of hand with it.

I am fully aware with what has been said and I'm not trying to insult anyone.

Stig and Helba in my mind a great guys. I don't blame them for leaving the clan. It's just I think that this could have been prevented by people speaking up and putting ideas across which is what practise is all about and also anyone can ask for a little meeting with GOAs or admins to get something sorted.

GOAs will be having a meeting this week to determine a lot of things, such as recruitment and promotions etc. There will also probably be quite a lot of dismals from the clan due to new recruits becoming inactive after they get the tags...

This is all i'm going to say because I am not going to be part of a bitching contest for who is right or anything. Everyone is right as everyone has opinions. I spoke my opinions just as Stig did. As far as I'm aware there is nothing wrong with that. and like i said in my first post.

nothing against chief, hes doing a great job.. its just that i dont think a clan that has become so big so quickly will ever be able to function as a close knit team.

Chief Do Not stand down. it is not your fault, its just the sheer size of the clan. there is nothing that anyone else could do differently to you now that we have grown.

a few months ago if we had seen this coming i still think that everyone would have voted to keep recruiting. Some leave, some join... its just that the joining is much faster at the moment

Stig, I wish you came to me before you made this decision. I will miss you my friend. As far as I am concerned, you will always be a member of this clan as long as I am here.

Well all in all i argree with pretty much everyone. Stig i will be sad to see you go and like chief said i wish you would have came to me or any of the GOA's before you made that decision, but the decision was yours there was nothing I or anyone else could do. If ever you wanna come back you are more than welcome to.
