Just thought I'd give you guys a little rant 'cause I'm bored.

Before I begin, I guess I should start by telling you guys a little about my playing style. It is a mixture of rogue, ninja, and just sneaking around. I will break away from the pack and get behind the enemy lines if I can. I will only do this alone and break away from the team if I think I can manage to keep myself quiet behind the enemy while I pick them off one by one (this is my favorite Wet Works tactic, fair warning.) If this can't be achieved, I go for plan B. I stick with my team, while still holding positions occasionally. If I get into a building with a good over-view of the map and people keep showing up, I'm not going to move because people think I'm a camper. I'm an opportunist punks. You'd take advantage of the 27 kill streak if people put their heads into your barrel too. As soon as I see the opportunity, I will move and find a new position. I will move quickly and quietly. Taking advantage of a new position nobody has seen me at.

Now, here's what I consider a real camper. Somebody who sits in one spot with his aiming down the sites waiting for somebody to walk into it. He can be at the top of a stair well, hiding in a corner, or behind a spawn point. It is cheap, takes no skill, and royally pisses people off.

That being said, think about when you call somebody a camper. Are they being a punk, or are they just kicking your arse and you don't like it?

Man, I definately agree with your style, I love to sneak around as well. I also love to pick people off that are running around in the open. If you get killed when you are just running down the street, you deserve it!!! I have been called a camper by some non S.S. members because I love to window shoot people out in the open.

The problem with the sitting in one spot thing, with me that is, is the sitting. I get bored WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY to quickly to sit around in one spot and shoot people. I just run around like a headless chicken most of the time calling out positions when I get killed, OR I do what my team captain tells me to do, whilst still running around like a headless chicken shooting the shit out of everything that moves (besides teammates). That is how I play.

I'm with ya Powers. I can certainly "linger" in spots for a bit but I can never really settle down in one spot and wait for people, I'm always bored of it after a few seconds. The game is designed to prevent a lot of camping (ie always 2 entrances into buildings) and I rarely find people that I can genuinely say were camping.

i can play any way. lol depends on what mood im in (If i want a camo fire and a tent / Or have my bags packed and ready to jet.) lol

yeah i play the same way echo~ but i dont run around as fast as powers rogue or pacopwn~ i need to improve my hipshooting~ i think everyone else aims down sight as they run usually~ i'll have to be playing around with it longer~ i only got 5days on my account punks! i'm gona smoke u all soon! muhaHAHHA

Ah. That brings up something else I like to do. Depending my class, I'll use what I like to call "right click down." I always have my right mouse button held, even when I'm sprinting, so that the moment I stop I am already looking down the sites. If you stop sprinting and THEN bring your gun to sights, it takes long. Whereas if you have it held down before you stop, it comes up almost instantly. I started doing this mainly because hardcore doesn't have crosshairs. It was my little trick out of that bind. I soon after found out what it did for my running.

i got 10 days on my account fools...plus, this is the second time i had to get to 55 due to my pc crashing, i lost my red barret, M4 and all that good stuff

You do know that you can back that stuff up right Snake? As small amount of time as I have invested I've copied my save files a few times now
